How Do I Find A Doctor For My Daughter...

From your responses below (thank you very much btw) I really think my daughter needs to be re-evaluted for celiac. The problem is I haven't a clue where to go to make that happen. My ped is really great and will do whatever I ask but by his own admission this is not a topic he knows much about and isn't really qualified to diagnose it. He wants us to see a GI guy. We've done that over the years and basically have been told she doens't have celiac because she didn't get a full + on her blood work and she will just "grow out of" her issues. I had one GI guy tell me to just take away the TV from her unless she poops regularly and another one told me it was my fault for nursing her for 20 months. Apparently breastmilk ruined her intenstines (I won't post where I told him he could go - especially considering I'm convinced that my breastmilk is the only thing that kept her on the weight charts at all since she couldn't eat food without getting sick).

So - now what do I do? How do I find a pediatric GI doc who won't blame us for her problems and will actually try to get an answer?

      That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

      Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

      Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

      Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
