Hi,

I was just curious as to if anyone knows what brands of cosmetics are gluten-free? I've tried a few brands so far and all of them seem to give me some sort of celiac-related problem. For example, when I use Clinique products I get really bad headaches, when I use Estee Lauder products I break out in a rash, and when I use Yves Saint Laurent products I break out in acne. Does anyone know of any brands that are gluten-free? Thank you in advance :)

I'm not a girl, so I have no idea.....my Mom has a Celiac friend and therefore, knows that no eyeliners are gluten-free....I think she has a list of gluten-free makeups, but obviously, my mom didn't need to copy it or anything.......so, like I said, I can offer nothing else.......I feel weird, posting in this thread.... :P

Ok, thanks. I can't believe no eyeliners are gluten-free...I'll have to look into that.

I contacted Lancome and they told me all their products are gluten free but of course they're not responsible for any cross contamination of their products. I use them all the time. I also use eyeliner, both Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder. I have a printout Estee Lauder sent me that lists all their gluten containing ingredients and check with the eyeliner and none were there. They said they list everything and they own MAC and Bobbi Brown and Clinique. Of course their liquid make up used wheat but not the eyeliner, loose powder or blush. You need to contact manufacturers and put all the information in a notebook. After a few months you'll start to memorize all of them. ;) Good luck!

Estee Lauder eyeline is good to go? I am hearing you right? If so I am going to buy some right away. I have been wanting glutenfree eyeliner so bad!

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
