On Oprah's site she has a "want to be on the show" page, and one of the topics is about how you've lost weight. If you've lost weight thanks to the gluten free diet - tell her! Maybe if enough of us tell her our weight loss stories we can be on the show :D

I think it's worth a try. I think Oprah is scared of the Wheat Assoc. and will never do a show but I'd love to be proven wrong. No one (as far as I know) ever heard back when I started the e-mail Oprah about Celiac campaign last fall. It was quite discouraging.

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
