i would love to know where you people are finding gluten free bagels!!!! i took my son to the bagel shop the other day and my mouth was watering. he felt bad that i couldnt have one!!

Mission white corn tortillas can be bought in the grocery store. The bagels you'll have to order over the internet. I tasted one at a Celiac fair and couldn't tell the difference! The English muffins on the other hand need some work! Last night I pitted and halved cherries and mixed them with shredded carrots and chopped green onions, a little teriyaki sauce and cooked bite size chicken and wrapped it in lettuce leaves. My husband loved it. I got the receipe from Allrecipes. They send you a recipe a day and some of them are just fine for us. Also the grocery store sells fantastic products and they list on the side of the box if they are vegan, or lactose free or gluten free etc. For example I bought their risotta which said gluten free right on the box. Wouldn't it be great if all foods did that?

what brand are the bagels aND where can you order them?

I can't remember what brand as I only sampled them at the Celiac Conference. You can order them from the Gluten Free Pantry and perhaps the Gluten Free Mall as well.

Where do you live? I find lots of great foods at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods...I agree, we are very blessed to be in California!! One good thing about this expensive, somewhat crazy state is the great fruits and veggies!

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
