Does anyone have a recipe for making

creamed corn from a can of whole corn?

If any of the prepared cans of creamed corn

are safe, I sure would appreciate knowing

which brands to use.

It has been years since

I've eaten any and I'm wanting some!

Hi Florida Jean, I found this recipe by doing a search on Google.

CREAMED CORN

1 lb. bag frozen corn niblets

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

1/4 c. butter

Black pepper

Parsley, chopped

Mix corn with butter and cream cheese and cook over medium heat until bubbly. Add pepper and parsley. You can also microwave this in a covered, glass dish, cooking on high power for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.

I don't think you should have any problems using any type of corn. As always, please read the labels.

Let me know if it is any good.

After reading the recipe over again, this sounds like something I make, but I add some garlic powder and about 1/4 C milk. :D

I've used Libby's Creamed Corn...and I have a can of Del Monte that lists modified corn starch, so I'm assuming that's safe too.

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to...

      Is Cracker Barrel`s gluten-free menu safe for kids with celiac disease?

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
