A Fantastic Place To Shop For Food!

Today we were on our way to HEB and saw this small supermarket called Basic Food's. It said "organic" in the sign, so we stopped to see if they had any g.f. bread mix. We stopped, and it was amazing!! They had things that I didnt even know came gluten free!! I got gluten free OREOS!!!, pretzels, animal cookies, bread mix, chicken nuggets, HAMBURGER BUNS!! and several other things that I had tried before. As many of yall have probably felt before, I was feeling like "just having one bite" of a piece of normal bread. I was getting so frustrated with this new diet. Well, being able to have a hamburger with a bun was so amazing!! I am in love with this store! If you live anywhere close to the Beaumont area (even if its like 45 min. away) its def. worth going to!

I live in Arlingotn, Tx , I can't remember which way Beaumont is and are you talking about HEB being the Hurst - Euless - Bedford area and if you are I would love to know directions to this store Basic Food's, is everything priced reasonable. And I was getting so excited about your post Welcome to the board.

Actually, it would be quite a ways for you to go to... Beaumont is by the Lousiania border close to Houston. The prices are great. They had a few sale items which was pretty super!

Yes that is quite a ways from me at least 4-5 maybe 6 hours away. So I guess I won't try to shop there.

      I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep.This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I get the shakes...

      I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

      Do Gluten Enzymes actually work?

      If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

I told him im glutenfree since 1994 by colonoscopy with biopsy positive celiac sprue by GI.Its RIDICULOUS when im bringing in material from this site of knowledge as well as the autoimmune institute,and  there's zero interest on their part.Medical IS causing me depression.Im view as a disability chaser, IM STILL RECOVERING from being a bus driver that im still healing and having more issues, now I may have multiple sclerosis or meningioma. Ive reached out, wrote letters, NOT feeling well. This is inhumane.
