It is a personal decision.

There is a New England Journal of Medicine study that showed that some people with celiac disease are non-responsive to the gluten free diet because of inhaled gluten.

You put foundation on your face, your inevitably breath some of it in. A lot, no, not by any means. Is there a chance you are going to smudge some on your lips and ingest it, sure, but again, its a very little quantity.

I personally chose to remove all hair/beauty products from my life because I was so sick and not getting better so I wanted to avoid any chances.

Again, its a personal choice.

There seems to be variation among people in terms of level of sensitivity, and this also changes over time. I have read here on the forum that many have become increasingly sensitive over time, and those who were non-believers became believers when they had strong reactions.

I too chose to remove these, and took a turn for the better after doing so. I still hope to retest my shampoo some day but not until I really feel well.

I just had to read this thread...I thought you were talking about a bra with gluten :lol: .

I'd see if you can't find something gluten free, just to be safe, think of how many times you touch your hands to your face in a day!

Neutrogena has a very very extensive list of gluten free products and I find that they are very high quality products! You can find the most recently updated list by searching the forums for something like "Neutrogena 07"...It's in the "Food Products and Medications" section.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
