I dont' know if this is what you're looking for, but I give my baby Mi-Del Arrowroot cookies. They are basically like Animal Crackers! She's 10 months and LOVES them! But I've never found anything like the teething biscuits that are thicker.

I think the Mi-Del cookies are the closest substitute, but as Linda said, they're not teething biscuits.

In my opinion, teething biscuits are a choking hazard anyway, so it is no loss if you can't find a gluten-free substitute. After being gummed for a while, usually a big piece will break off in baby's mouth, and it can cause choking.

The second time I gave one to my older daughter she choked on it: eyes bugged out, turning purple, every parent's nightmare. I was lunging for the scissors to cut the straps of her high chair when she finally coughed it up. And I know our experience is far from unusual. My husband now refers to them as choking biscuits.

My 10 YEAR old daughter loves Baby Mum Mum. They are by HotKids and are rice rusks. The company now offers organic Baby Mum Mums.

They are: gluten free, egg free, nut free, not artificial colors or flavours, no preservatives, and cholesterol free. Basically taste free, but my kid loves them.

They come individually wrapped so are great for lunch snacks. My 10 year old has no issues with the good-natured teasing from her friends.

The company now offers Toddler Mum Mums (which my non-celiac kid prefers), but my celiac kid prefers Baby Mum Mums. I get them at Walmart/Safeway/organic food stores in Canada but am presuming you can get them in the States.

As per previous posts, rusks and teething biscuits can be choking hazards. My kids never had any such biscuits until they were over 2.

      I'm very confused... My blood test came out negative, I checked all antibodies. I suppose my Total IgA levels are normal (132 mg/dl), so the test should be reliable. Still, I'm not relieved as I can't tolerate even a single biscuit. I need to talk to my doctor about whether a duodenal biopsy is necessary. But it is really possible to have intestinal damage despite having a seronegative results? I have really strong symptoms, and I don't want to keep skipping university lectures or being bedridden at home.

      They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

      In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

      This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.
