Faultless Starch

I emailed the Faultless people just the other day and got an oblique response back. I got glutened the other day and for the life of me can't find out where it's coming from. I use community washers and dryers here at my apartment complex and next to that possibility I thought it might be the starch I use on my bed sheets. Anyway, here's a copy of the email they sent me regarding the ingredients.

Hope this helps someone else out there too!

"Dear Patricia,

Thank you for your recent email regarding your interest in our Faultless Spray Starch. We always appreciate consumer correspondence.

The following ingredients are in our Faultless Regular, Heavy, and, Lemon spray starches; water, butane/propane propellant, corn starch, silicone ironing aid, perfume, parabens, and corrosion inhibitors. So corn gluten may be present in any of our starch products.

Thank you for taking the time to email us and should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again.

Sincerely,

Annie Blackman

This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
