Asian Beef & Mushroom Soup

Gluten Soy Dairy & Nightshade Free

I used Cornstarch Noodles I bought @ Asian grocery store :)

1 package cornstarch noodles

1 free range beef flank (cut into strips)

4 cups organic beef broth

1 cup sliced button mushrooms

1 fresh garlic clove, minced

2 tb good quality sesame oil

kosher or sea salt to taste

chopped fresh green onions for garnish

Cook cornstarch noodles following manufacturers directions.

In a 10" fry pan, pour sesame oil, and heat to med. Add sliced steak and mushrooms, turning as it browns. Add broth and garlic and boil for about 10 minutes.

When noodles are cooked completely (they grow in size! :) drain and add to soup base.

Stir well and let sit for about 5 minutes. Put chopped green onions on, stir well. Check for seasoning add more salt or sesame oil if desired.

Makes 4 servings.

Enjoy! B)

Sounds good and easy. Pic looks tastey too. I would have to skip the mushrooms and add a diff veggie. (I can't stand mushrooms  ). Good for the crock pot. Thanks Collette!

I still gotta try your lemon coffee cake. I am waiting for my dd to come home and share it with me.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
