Sypmtoms Coming And Going

So I am waiting to do my endoscopy coming up in October. I've already had a negative blood test but still had strong symptoms after that. I'm still eating gluten filled foods while waiting for the endo and I've noticed that my sypmtoms come and go. A week ago I was having loose stools and going often...but now I'm just having gas problems and stomach problems (pain, acid reflux ect.) but with solid stools (I actuallyl feel like I'm not getting it all out) sorry about the grossness... I was wondering if anyone else had these on and off symptoms before diagnosis or if they should be constant??

I think that is common, yes.

This sounds just like me! I've been going through the same exact thing. I tested neg too on the blood test. I just had my endo and colonoscopy and will see my doc tomorrow for results. I don't know if I have celiacs, some kind of intolerance, or something else; I was wondering too if symptoms for Celiacs came in waves. I wish I could be more help, but just know you're not alone.

My symptoms came and went for years. After I started to menstruate they seemed to be worse during the two weeks before my period and then would get a bit better. For a time I thought everything was hormonal in origin. The last 10 to 15 years before I was diagnosed they did progress to an everyday part of life and escalated in severity at that point.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
