Hi, I came across a web site devoted to problems young women were experiencing after receiving this vaccination and some were having digestive problems in addition to the fainting and seizures. I was wondering if anyone here found that their problems began with this vaccination.

Here is a link:

I had the HPV Vaccination last year. I have had several friends who have had it as well and none of us have had a problem with it. We've done several stories on this where I work and from what I understand there are more sucess stories with this vaccine than there are problems. It's a personal choice though if you want to get it or not. I was also concerned but it worked out for me and I'm ultimately happy I did it.

My Celiac problems I think started when I was in high school after I had Mono.

Thanks for your response, :) I am so glad that you didn't react negatively to the HPV.

Personally, I am way past the age for such a vaccination but I have nieces and young friends that may receive it and some of what I am reading really scares me. It made me wonder if anyone is showing up here with digestive issues that she is being told have nothing to do with the vaccine but started with it.

Perhaps the scariest is that if a woman wants to immigrate to the US she must have it.

I got this vaccination in 2009 when I was 20 and it completely altered my life. Made my celiac disease so much worse, sleep 15-18 hours a day, SIBO, it has completely altered my life since getting this vaccination. My doctor has two twin girls about my age and they both have digestion problems after receiving gardasil

Thank you I have a young daughter and have wondered this exact question posed by the poster and your response has given me great pause about this issue which may come up in years to come. I am sorry to hear this wreak havoc on your life, but simultaneously thank you for sharing this detail to help those of us that have likely been decades misdiagnosed celiacs now raising children. Thank you.

I'm a male, bit i have heard a ton of horror stories about gardisil. Many teens have died from it.

My Dr has advised me not to take any medicine what so ever. He says its almost impossible to find medicine that won't bother my guts. He said i could have a pharmacist specially make gluten free medicine, but hes afraid any medicine at all will cause problems with my severely damaged intestines. Theres just to many unsafe chemicals in medicine

Yes, I, too, have osteoporosis from years of malabsorption, too.  Thiamine and magnesium are what keep the calcium in place in the bones.  If one is low in magnesium, boron, selenium, zinc, copper, and other trace minerals, ones bone heath can suffer.  We need more than just calcium and Vitamin D for strong bones.  Riboflavin B 2, Folate B 9 and Pyridoxine B 6 also contribute to bone formation and strength.   Have you had your thyroid checked?  The thyroid is important to bone health as well.  The thyroid uses lots of thiamine, so a poorly functioning thyroid will affect bone heath.

That sounds so very likely in my case! I will absolutely ask my doctor on my next bone check coming up in March... Thanks a lot!

Calcium levels as measured in the blood can be quite deceiving as the body will rob calcium from the bones to meet demands for it by other bodily functions. Also, supplementing with calcium can be counterproductive as it tends to raise gut pH and decrease absorption. More often than not, the problem is poor absorption to begin with rather than deficiency of intake amounts in the diet. Calcium needs an acidic environment to be absorbed. This is why so many people on PPIs develop osteoporosis. The PPIs raise gut pH. And some people have high gut PH for other reasons. Low pH equates to a more acidic environment whereas high pH equates to a more basic (less acidic) environment.

Kind thanks for all this valuable information! Since my Folate was/is low and also my Calcium, there IS a chance I am low in B vitamins... My doctor only measured the first two, oh and Zinc as I has twisted her arm and guess what, that was mega low too. So who knows, until I get myself tested properly, what else I am deficient in... I did a hair mineral test recently and it said to avoid All sources of Calcium. But this is confusing for me as my Ca is so low and I have osteoporosis because of this. It is my Adjusted Ca that is on the higher side and shouldn't be. So am not sure why the mineral test showed high Ca (well, it was medium in the test but relative to my lowish Magnesium, also via hair sample, it was high I was told). But anyway, thanks again for the VitB download, I will look into this most certainly!

Hello good afternoon, I was wondering if anyone has ever brought their anti-allergy pills? I have been wanting to use their Cetirizine HCI 10mg. They are called HealthA2Z and distributed by Allegiant Health.I’m also Asthmatic and these allergies are terrible for me but I also want to be sure they don’t have any sort of gluten compound.    I have tried calling them but to no avail. Has anyone ever used them? If so, did you had any problems or no problems at all?    thank you
