I was looking for a good doctor in Albany, NY area if anyone knows of one. I have not had the best of luck with doctors and would love one that might, I don't know, take the time and really figure out what is going on. Thanks for the help.

I don't know about doctors in that area, but I do know that there are active support groups in the area. I would suggest that you contact one of them to ask for help and for recomendations for knowledgeable doctors. Surely they would know! Good luck to you.

there's a support group that meets at St. Peters Hospital. this website has the details: Open Original Shared Link

there may be other groups that meet more frequently...i used to live in Glens Falls and i think their group meets once a month. maybe not anymore though. i moved right after i was diagnosed so i never got to go! check with the hospitals in the area.

      New labs are now very elevated

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to...

      Is Cracker Barrel`s gluten-free menu safe for kids with celiac disease?

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
