Regina Sk Chapter

My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Nov of 2007 after a biopsy. We have periodically checked to see if there are any events or meetings for celiacs in Regina. The Canadian celiac website lists a chapter in Regina, but I have never seen any meetings listed. Am I looking in the wrong place, or is the chapter pretty inactive?

We would like to find a network of people to share tips and questions with in Regina. Anyone out there?

I don't know what's going on with them. It has been 2+ years since I got any newsletter or meeting invites, so my guess would be inactive ... Even when I spoke with a lady who used to be the Celiac dietician here in Regina she said she didn't know what was going on with them.

I think I am going to have to try and join the Saskatoon one. I suggest you should, also. I have been told they have much better newsletters.

It really sucks because when I moved to Regina is when the Chapter seemed to disappear!

Maybe if we can get a few more people interested we could start up the Regina chapter again.

That would be so nice!!! I was never able to come out to any of the meetings or parties. The letters were also nice because the one had a whole list of where to eat/where to buy food.

Whenever I can get to see the current Celiac dietician (I haven't had the way to go drop of referral letter from my doc yet) I'll also ask her what is going on or how a person could get things going again.
