Lays Stax

Lays Stax (all flavors) are on sale at Winn Dixie Supermarkets for 5 for $5. The pizza flavored ones didn't note "This product is naturally gluten free" so I called. Apparently, they are still working out a few labeling kinks but the rep said every flavor is gluten-free made in a separate facility than gluten products.

I know this is old news to some but I'm always loving a good, mainstream gluten-free product. I bought 8.

Hi!

My students at school are always curious about the things i can eat and things I can't eat. One remembers me saying I could not eat Pringles. I guess he was recently eating some Lays Stax and read the back. He came in excited to tell me that the label says that it is naturally free of gluten or something like that. I haven't tried them yet. How much are they like Pringles? I LOVE Pringles.

They taste better then pringles to me. Although I haven't had pringles in a very long time. They are made in a separate facility then the gluten products :D Big accomplishment for them I will say...there are 4 brands of their chips made in a gluten-free facility. :D

we LOVE the Lay's Stax here. I called the company too about the Pizza flavor, and they sent me an updated list of all their gluten-free products and some coupons to use! Plus they sent a Chester Cheeto pencil and temp tattoo for my daughter!

My kids love them. They are always asking for more! I have to limit them to one can at a time, since they will eat them all. I stock up when they go on sale. I am more tha willing to pay $1 a pack, but it is hard for me to pay $1.79, when I know they will be on sale soon. They go on sale at least once a month or more at our local SaveMart and even Kmart. We have only tried the regular flavored, since the other flavors are not dairy free. How do the other flavors taste??

God bless,

Mariann

I’m frustrated with celiac disease and my current gastroenterologist (GI). I’ve been gluten free for almost 13 years, with normal antibodies for almost 8 years - except for one excursion of my DGP IgA 5 years ago which returned to normal when I changed brands of gluten free flour. All 4 celiac antibodies were positive 13 years ago but I didn’t have an endoscopy for reasons unrelated to celiac disease.  I did have one 9 years ago. The DGP IgA was still slightly elevated, GI saw some blunted villi visually, biopsy showed “patchy mild increase in intraepithelial lymphocytes” and “focal mild villous blunting” (Marsh 3A). For the past few years I’ve had intermittent trouble with nausea and...

I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity and a wheat allergy as a child in the early 1960s, . which I inherited from my father's DNA. My mom tried the best she could with both of us, but in those times health and allergies were kind of brushed aside.  I grew out of it, or so we thought, but the rashes reared their ugly heads while I was in college. Keg parties (wheat & gluten in beer and youthful reckess eating led to an outbreak. To the point, I am a 65 year old and now living with full blown celiac with dermatitis herpetiformis blisters that are just beginning to receed after being gluten-free for over 2 years at least. The lesions are so unsightly that I need to stay covered. Ive been living in...
