Hi everyone,

Planter's nuts (not roasted) are still okay? Yes? I eat the South Beach Diet mix...

Thank you!

Planter's is a Kraft brand. If there is any gluten, they will clearly name the gluten grain in the ingredients list. If you don't see wheat, rye, barley or oats in the list, then they are not in the product.

A little off topic.

Went to a b-day party today. We had Hot Fudge Sundays. I checked the can of "nut topping" (don't remember the brand), and it had wheat starch in it. Why the formulation had to include that in a simple peanut product is beyond me. But it just reinforces the need to check product labels all the time.

btw, everyone but me had fried chicken from Popeys and KFC. Not usually a complainer, but damn that sucked. :D

best regards, lm

I think so, but you should always read the label on every individual package. You never know when a formula might change.

I agree with @trents, could be worth having another scope. Oddly enough I'm in the same boat except my current odd sensation is near my appendix, I think I'll request a colonoscopy for peace of mind.

Yes, take this up with your GI doc during the next visit. It might be a good idea to get an upper GI scoping done if you haven't had one done since diagnosis.

I will be doing in the new year. I had a thought that it might be Diverticulitis but I have no other symptoms related to that.

Have you mentioned it to your gastroenterologist?
