Hi, is Arm & Hammer deodorant and anti-perspirant gluten-free? Some googling found the following: "ARM & HAMMER

I have no clue if you'd be interested in this or not but I use a Thai Crystal for my deodorant (not an anti-perspirant)and have had this ONE rock for over 3 years :) I have very sensitive skin and have used it during my 1 1/2 hour workouts in the gym with no smell afterwards. It's going to be gluten free :)

Hi, is Arm & Hammer deodorant and anti-perspirant gluten-free? Some googling found the following: "ARM & HAMMER® Deodorant Anti-Perspirant contains stearyl alcohol and emulsifiers as well. We regret that these products will not be compatible with your gluten intolerance." Could someone explain this further?

I expect that this is extremely dated information. That same reference is over ten years old.

If you use a roll on or a solid deodorant, it should not be a problem.

      But you didn't answer my question. When you consume gluten, is there an identifiable reaction within a short period of time, say a few hours?

      I am only wondering why you would need to cut out rice? I've never heard of rice being any issue in those with DH.

      My mother has celiac disease and was diagnosed with Afib around 8 months ago. She's 81 and around 2 months ago had ablation therapy done, which is a very common procedure to treat this, and has been out of Afib 95% of the time since then. Apparently the full effects of this treatment don't kick in for 90 days, so the doctors expect her recovery to possibly reach 100%. Be sure to discuss this with your doctor.
