Otc Zantac 75 Mg

I've been taking Zantac for a few days and I checked. While Zantac itself is gluten-free, Pfizer won't guarantee that cross-contamination doesn't occur. I'm starting to feel really sick and I'm NOT going to be happy! :(

I have not used the name brand, but Kroger's generic is gluten-free.

I've taken Zantac in the 150mg dose and don't seem to have any problems.

I've taken the 150mg dose with no problems.

Medications are one of the very least likely products to be contaminated. Pfizer is merely telling you what their attorneys told them to say. Contamination isn't impossible, but it's more likely it's from another product or even a psychological reaction to Pfizer's disclaimer.

I just started taking zantac 150 and think I am OK with it. I've taken it before in the past and don't remember a problem with the brand one.

I have been taking Beano lately too and FINALLY realized that IT is making me sick! make sure it isn't something else making you sick!

Thanks Everyone- so nice of you to respond. It turned out it wasn't the zantac but a cross-contamination from my own toater oven. Oops! Learned my lesson that time- getting my own toaster. Thanks for all your replies. I am feeling much better. Beverly

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
