Hi,

Does anyone know a Doc in Seattle for a celiac patient. I need one that is a GP or FP.

Have you tried contacting the Gluten Intolerance Group and asking them? They are based in Seattle and I believe a lot of the people who volunteer there have celiac disease, so they may even recommend their doctor.

I would call as opposed to e-mailing as they didn't answer my e-mail.

And don't give up if they don't answer the phone the first time or two.

I go to a GI doc in Puyallup, but I can't say he knows very much about celiac disease. <_<

If you go to the home page of this site and scroll down, there is a link to recommended doctors from other celiacs. You can click on your state and see if there is any around you that you could try :D

      New labs are now very elevated

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to...

      Is Cracker Barrel`s gluten-free menu safe for kids with celiac disease?

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
