Docs In St. Louis Area?

Possibly looking for a new GI and definately looking for a Primary Care that listen and take the time to try and understand their patients.

I currently go to the CAD building at Barnes for my GI. Has anyone had any experiances with anyone there? Good or bad?

Primary care is out of St. Anthony's and is probably the most horrible doc I've ever had. For anything.

Thanks!

I'm on my 3rd right now. I saw a guy at St. Anthony's a few years ago. I like him but they are impossible

to get appointments with. (St. Louis GI) Dr. Brady and Moosintong. Then my primary reffered me

to one at St. Johns (Taraveedi) She is hopelessly useless.

So i went and saw a new GI at St. Anthony's last week. Dr. Baht. he is highly recomended. he has a website you

can look at.

I took all my previous tests and we talked about them. He said in the last scope i had done there was some marker

that indicates Celiac but wasn't for sure and wouldn't diagnos me because he didn't do the test.

So i have to wait a month and have the scopes done again. But its the most informed visit i've ever had with a GI.

we talked about food inteleronce and my symptoms of weight loss and 'D'.

Not sure i would recommened him yet. At least until i have another visit or two.

I did try to get in to see a GI group at Barnes. Apparently a Dr. Suyuk Gregg is one of the leading GI specialist in the world. so I called and they said it would be May 24 before i could get in. I just hung up.

I have heard of Baht from a few people and they seem pretty happy. I guess it is a place to start if the one at Barnes doesn't work out. I have an appointment with her on the 24th. Thanks for the info!

Absolutely my point with Kerrigan, the owner. She stood to secure many years of faithful patronage by simply inviting us in for a pastry or lunch. Or by simply producing another $50 e-card based on trust. We would have been highly satisfied. We are limited to a few restaurants in the area, and that would have been one. It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.

You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

So there was no physical, plastic card involved, correct?

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.
