Hi, does anyone have natural ways to treat h pylori? Diet, supplements etc? Any advice would be wonderful....the bloating, pain, muscle aches in my back, ugh I can do with out it all...my dr wants me to try a natural root first and if no success in 2weeks will treat me...his suggestions probiotic, alo Vera juice...but I am sure there. Must be a need for a diet change in there somewhere and I do not seem to have much successes with probiotics but am totally open to all your wisdom and advice....

H Pylori is a BIG deal- and may not simply go away with diet change and probiotics- in fact it mostly will not go away without intervention. im not so sure i would suggest for everyone to do Aloe Vera juice- it can be bad for some people..

anyways- usually western docs treat H Pylori with STRONG antibiotics for 6 weeks. sometimes 2 different kinds. its a real stubborn bacteria- hard to kill. and loves to return in LOW acid stomachs.

that being said, because i end up so much sicker when i take regular antibiotics, i tried to go natural when i had an ulcer- i took GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract). bought it at whole foods, tho im sure you can order it online. it's a natural antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, etc etc. i took 15 drops in 8oz of water 3 times a day for a month. i had intended to take it for 6 weeks- but it's bitter and annoying- so i think after a month i got lazy. within a week the burning was gone.. but u must take it for AT LEAST 4-6 weeks- as it's H Pylori. so, it worked for me. JUST MAKE SURE u read the instructions and DILUTE properly- as it is ver potent- and could hurt u. even tho its natural- it's just very strong. ***dont ever use it in the Netti Pot, it burned my nose

**i also took Zantac BARELY, but especially at night- to prevent the acid from doing major damage- but i did not stay on it long- if you take antacids on a regular basis- you will create a LOW stomach acid environment- and then the hpylori will start nesting again.

i also took Pepto Bismol liquid to sooth my stomach. OH- and cranberry juice- helps to kill them- i may have waited till the 2nd week so i wasnt irritated.

also broccoli sprouts is a good preventive food - keeps the Hpylori from setting up camp.

good luck!

PS- ive heard the GSE can possibly kill some good bacteria- so make sure you're eating yogurt and taking probiotics. i did this- and im sure it does NOT kill them all like regular antibiotics do- cause i never had any adverse conditions come up

I successfully treated my H. Pylori infection with mastic gum, which kills that bacteria and heals the stomach. I also took L-glutamine and turkey rhubarb tincture to heal my stomach. Probiotics won't help heal your stomach, but they will help repopulate your intestines with good bacteria, which crowd out bad bacteria in the intestines. Aloe vera may heal your stomach ulcers, but may not kill the H. Pylori bacteria. Unless you kill that bacteria, you will continue to have stomach sensitivity, if not ulcers.

Thank you both so much.....what types of problems can aloe Vera cause? I am just so sick of fearing....I never know when I will feel great and energized after my meal , fall asleep and sluggish, or bloat like 6 months preg with terrible stomach pains and gas!!!!!ugh

I agree with the above posters. I would also use all the supplements they described, plus I used ginger to sooth my stomach, raw garlic and Betaine HCI to get my stomach acid higher.

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
