If you are allergic to these things you should NOT be eating them! For allergy testing you don't need the things in your system like with the celiac antibody testing. I came up as allergic to wheat a month ago even thoguh I have been gluten-free (and therefore wheat free) for the past 18 months. I really think you need to call him and ask him if by "eat normally" he meant that your should eat these things you are allergic to. I doubt very much that's what he meant since he also told you to get rid of the cat and clean well to help with your environmental allergens. Allergies can get much worse if you keep eating the thing syoua re allergic to. If they are not yet dangerous they may turn dangerous at anytime. I had an anaphylactic dairy reaction pop up this year and I have eaten dairy all my life but always suspected a "mild" allergy becaus eit used to make me congested. Please don't mess around with your health by eating the things you are allergic to unless you get clarification from your dr. that these are very mild allergies. And even if they are mild now they could turn dangerous at anytime if you keep eating them....

not to worry i am staying far away from soy that is quite a trigger that causes my throat to close my voice to go

i am not sure but i am thinking that fresh straberries or tomatoes are causeing hives probally both i have been eating the straberries today and have been breaking out in hives all day not pritty

so ill be staying away from that food

and the past couple of days i have been eating tomato based foods and been having hives pop up badly

i am happy that i tested that i am allergic to wheat so i can stick it in the mother in law's face to say see i am allergic to gluten :)

Have you checked your personal care products (lotions, shampoo, make-up, etc) for the things you are allergic to? I got hives from using lotion that had wheat germ oil in it. Soy is also used in a lot lotions and things in the form of vitamin E or Tocopherols.

i have checked some i relized that one of the lip glosses i use has soy in it so that got tossed out

i dont know about the other stuff i use there is no ing list on the makup

just checked the olay ing and dont see anything but im thining im so new at this i could be missing it my eyes are not trained yet to spot the bad ing

Make up and lotions are hard to read the ingredients because there are no laws saying allergens have to be labeled for non-food items. They can hide soy or wheat in tocopherols, mixed tococpherols or vitamin E and many other things. You may want to write to the companies of the products you use to find out if they are safe.

Body dysmorphia experience. When I was at the worst of my gluten problem I use to get chronic constipation; I would spend long time sitting on the toilet. One day as I was tired of sitting, I rested my head on my hands and my elbows on my knees, as soon as I felt the pressure of my elbows on my knees the perception of my body changed to that of a tarantula; I visualized and it felt real. The perception went away as soon as I removed the pressure on my knees, I deducted that the pressure of my elbows on the knees caused the sensation, so I repeated the position and the sensation of having the body of a tarantula happened each time. I have not had that experience since then because I started a gluten-free diet short after. I wonder if those people that look distorted to themselves in the mirror could have something similar but with the responsible sensory contacts located on their feet. I want to document this experience because it might help some research or others, it sounds crazy but I feel the right thing to do is to share it.

Get tested for vitamin deficiencies.  Though neuropathy can be a symptom of celiac, it can also be caused by deficiencies due to poor digestion caused by celiac and could be easier to treat.

Thank you so much for your response  Yes it seems as though things get very painful as time goes on.  I'm not eating gluten as far as I know.  However, I'm not sure of cross contamination.  My system seems to weaken to hidden spices and other possibilities. ???  if cross contamination is possible...I am in a super sensitive mode of celiac disease.. Neuropathy from head to toes
