gluten-free Shampoo?

How do you know if shampoo, conditioners, or cosmetics have gluten in them? Do lots of these things have them in it? Does it say "gluten" right on the label? Somehow, I doubt it. lol. Nothing else says "gluten" right on it. Goodness... now I'm going to have to go through my bathroom and makeup bag. What next? lol.

They hide it too so you have to know brands and call around.

The whole Bare Escentuals makeup line is gluten free

Continuous Color by CoverGirl is gluten free

Dove will clearly indicate gluten in the form of wheat, rye, barley, oats on the label of all their products( I use many products from here)

Neutrogena has a list of products that are gluten free

HoneyBeeGardens has nail polish and other makeup that is gluten free

These are just to name a few...if you do a search you can find out about the brands that were discussed on here

Alot of lipsticks/lotions/shampoos/conditioners do have wheat in them. Some of them say it right on them and others do not.

Just got to check everything.

I have found that these products are gluten-free by calling Neutrogena.

Shampoo: Clean Replenishing

Body wash: Rainbath

Conditioner: Triple Moisture.

Body moisturizer: Body Emulsin

I don't use make-up LOL but I have an addiction to lip moisturizer Chap Stick (Cherry) is gluten-free, thank goodness or I'd have to have another support group LOL.

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
