Corn Pasta

Hello,

I just thought I'd mention this for anyone else who has tried the corn pasta and thought it was yucky - I made some last night for dinner. I made corn pasta for myself and regular pasta for my bf. Well, it's hard to make two things of pasta at once without them boiling over, so I ended up doing mine, then his, so mine sat there for a little while before getting drained. That made all the difference! It wasn't mushy or hard like I've had it before, it was nice and soft just like regular pasta.

So if you boil it for about 7 minutes and then let it sit for about another 8 minutes or so before draining, it helps a lot.

That's good :D Glad you had a good experience.

In my personal opinion Tinkyada has the best pasta for us around. If you have not tried it, I recommend you do.

I absolutely love quinoa spaghetti! (Is that considered corn??) It's a little more tempermental than Tinkyada tho. I just haven't had any luck on the quinoa shells - they are always crunchy. I will try your recommendation tho!

I felt a little sick when I first tried Tinkyada. My tummy wasn't quite sure what to think. Never did have a problem with Quinoa tho. Now that I've been gluten-free a little longer, neither is a problem. I eat Tinyada at least once a week now.

But if it's the sheer taste of it that bothers you, try it with Classico Alfredo Sauce and steamed broccoli. I like it better with this sauce than with a tomato-based sauce. I still use Quinoa for all tomato-based sauces.

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
