Question Regarding White Sorghum Flour

I was hoping that somebody could possibly help me. I have an intolerance towards potatoes so I’m not supposed to eat them. :( I have started looking at possible other flour mixes. I have been using Bette Hagman Four flour bean mix as well as Carol Fenster Sorghum flour mix. I have been buying white sorghum flour from the USA for my own personal use over the web and it has been costing me a small fortune.

So I decided to see if I could possibly find white sorghum flour that is grown for human consumption in Australia. After more than a month’s worth of phone calls and emails I have at last found a person who grows white sorghum flour organically for human consumption.

I have found a person in Queensland that has 20 tons of organically certified white sorghum in his silo for human consumption. He is trying to find a mill that can mill the flour for celiacs that would not cross-contaminate his product. He is struggling to find a mill. Can somebody please help? Do you know of a mill that he can make use of or do you possibly have any other suggestions? I am not in anyway financially connected to the person I just want to be able to buy white sorghum in Australia that I could bake with, that is not costing me an arm and a leg.

I’m sure that a number of others in Australia that are following a gluten free diet would be delighted if they could get access to white sorghum flour. So far the white sorghum flour that I have baked with has made really tasty bread. :P It tastes the closest to bread with gluten.

Your help is much appreciated.

Some people posted in the forum about doing their own milling at home, though obviously there is the outlay - and space needed - for the equipment.

Hoping you find a solution.

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
