Leaky Gut Home Test?

I have read about a leaky gut test using lactulose and mannitol. It appears many get it from their ND or DC. Is there a mail-order, do-it-yourself version, does any know? It seems easy enough and low-risk enough to do unsupervised. Thanks.

Sorry, I haven't heard of this test Teknolen. Do you have the name of the test or the lab that performs it?

I read about it in the book Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski. Page 116 reads, "The method that has rapidly become the recognized standard for intestinal permeability testing is the mannitol and lactulose test".

Found several on-line but the ones I found only offer through an authorized practitioner. One lab is Genova Diagnostics, they call it "Intestinal Permeability Assessment", DESCRIPTION: This test analyzes urine for the clearance of two non-metabolized sugars, lactulose and mannitol. It identifies 'leaky gut' and malabsorption.

      I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
