Different Reaction To Gluten?

Usually I get extreme fatigue, headaches, stomach ache, and really irritable. This time after being glutened I had a different reaction. I only have a terrible stomach ache. Is this normal?

Help please.

Reactions can change but are you sure you were glutened? I thought for quite a while that I was being glutened but having a different reaction. It turned out that I had issues with soy which gives me incredible stomach pain but not the other symptoms I get with gluten. Took me a long time to figure that one out. Pepto Bismal liquid stops the pain within minutes for me.

Yes I'm positive because I had a sandwich, long story. I've only been at this 6 weeks.

It could be that the headaches and such were caused by the prolonged glutening.

Trust me, it's hard, but you HAVE TO STAY CLEAN. HAVE TO. You'll feel sooooooooo much better.

Also, after a glutening, I sometimes have reactions to milk.. It could be that to!

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
