So I figured out oats are a no for me. Labs came back and SIBO is my problem. So glad it's something an not that I'm crazy. Rifaximin for me for a week. I'm hoping it goes well. So grateful I'm not intolerant of more than gluten and oats. Thanks for all your help :)

Sorry to hear about your sensitivity to oats. It is estimated that around 10% of celiacs react to the protein in oats also. It is called avenin sensitive enteropathy. I unfortunately fall into this category. I can not consume products that also have oat or potential oat cross contamination. So I have to call manufacturers to see if they use gluten free oats. It has eliminated quite a few gluten free products. There are brands I trust. To name a few: Glutino, Betty Crocker and Ener G. I have contacted them about the oats. Here is a link to a topic I started awhile back.

We have.  She is so limited as to what she can eat.  She has a nutritionist, but they are even at a loss.  Right now, her pain is so significant that she can only eat 5-10 bites a meal.   We just got some labs back today and she is hypoglycemia, anemic and her immune system is shot.  She also is positive for 3 tickborne illnesses.  Thanks for your help!

A much better suggestion than that of the new doctor!

Have you considered putting her on the autoimmune protocol diet?

I suggested she just not eat gluten ans still have the scope because of the pain she has been having.  She has lost significant weight and is failure to thrive at almoat 21.  She has had GERD and bleeding ulcers previously and is having those issues now.  She also has systemic sclerosis, so we know those things are issues with that.  We will find her a new doctor back home too.
