What Do These Results Mean?

My daughter's doctor has a patient portal which just sent me the results of part of her blood work and I'm still waiting on the doctor. OF course I am impatient so I thought I would check with you guys.

This is what the results say:

Component Your Value Standard Range Units

IgA 42.3 22.0 - 220.0 mg/dl

This is for my 29 month old daughter.

This looks like her total IGA which is a bit low. It is not a celiac test but can be helpful if it is low because the doctor then should know that will throw off her celiac related IGA testing. Do post the rest of her results when you get them.

Well the GI has sent me a message saying that Eliza shows no signs of Celiacs.

False negatives with children are even higher than they are with adults. If your child is having symptoms after all celiac related tests are done give the diet a try.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
