Magic Bullet For Better Absorption

No matter how much fruits, vegetables and vitamins I eat my body dosent seem to absorb them very well if at all. Im wondering if I used a magic bullet to liquefy fruit and veggies my body would absorb them better.

Im about 9 months into going 100% gluten free. Does it usually take this long to heal?

Hi,

I have to say I'm only 2 weeks in, but I have a concern in the back of my mind that I'm going to be a year gluten free and still not absorbing.

The basic question you pose suggests that possibly your body can't break down food, but if given the food in finer form it might not have to work so hard to absorb the nutrients out of it. It's a logical idea.

I think the educated answer that may come in will be..... MAYBE

haha yeah true. I will try it out and see how it goes.

Great, I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if after a couple of weeks you feel it is a benefit to you. It makes sense that a puree would be easier to absorb, but I don't know the workings of the body well enough to know if it matters.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
