Rating Recipes & Products

OK, everyone, I know this is going to be the question of the year, but is there ONE place that all of us can rate the different recipes and products we try? I am thinking something along the lines of allrecipes.com.

Is it really necessary for all of us to try a recipe that turns out like cardboard, or all buy that box of $12 cookies that taste like sand? Fortunately, there are lots of gluten-free products and recipes out there now, but like ones that aren't gluten-free, there are some that just aren't good.

If there is something I don't know about, or this has been already posted to death (like that 3-rice flour thing), I'm sorry. I just think it'd be a great idea if we could save each other the expense of buying something you don't like or spending 4 hours baking something not even the dog will eat.

This message board sort of meets that need, but you really have to search the posts about recipes and products.

Any suggestions, or am I a wishful thinker?

One of the posts in the foods/products section started with a question about people's 3 worst gluten-free foods ever and is full of "bests" and "worsts" and is a lot of fun to read through. Most of the opinions agree, but there are occasional people who like what everyone else hates. It might help you out. It would be good to have a ratings section with the cost of these foods. I could also use a section for recipes that ended up disgusting after all that work.

It's kinda funny... if you read over the posts about things here, you'll see that there isn't always a consensus on things. A lot of people like one thing, but a good number of people won't like the same item, so - unfortunately - you're stuck with a fair amount of trying things sometimes. But I don't know of a place (other than randomly here) to do that for strictly gluten-free stuff.

Hello, @Mrs Wolfe, I crushed three vertebrae moving a chest of drawers.  I take a combination of Thiamine Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12, and Pyridoxine B6.  Together these vitamins have an analgesic effect.  I think it works better than OTC pain relievers.   I also like  "Takeda ALINAMIN EX Plus Vitamin B1 B6 B12 Health Supplementary from Japan 120 Tablets" .   It's all three vitamins together in one pill.  Works wonderfully!

It's the Potassium Iodide in the HRT pills that is triggering Dermatitis Herpetiformis and the increased IGG levels.   The thyroid is stimulated by the Potassium Iodide, which stimulates immune cells to make more IGG antibodies.   Thiamine Vitamin B1 helps the thyroid function.  I like Benfotiamine and TTFD Thiamax.

I’m in a flare up with rib pain. I read where others have experienced this after exposure to gluten.  Has anyone found something that eases the pain.
