I don't know if they are really the same thing or not my I am looking for a recipe for either spring rolls or egg rolls. Please I do not do pork or shrimp. But maybe I could use chicken in them or just veggies. I have the rice wraps just need a recipe for them now.

Thank you,

Grump

I have made egg rolls with chicken and veggies but not spring rolls.

Here is a recipe for spring rolls:

I make my filling so that it's pretty versatile.

2 scrambled eggs (cooked, cooled, & hacked up into really little nuggets)

2 bags shredded cole slaw mix (with carrots, green cabbage only)

fresh ginger & garlic (grated to taste)

ground chicken (browned, cooled, & crushed up if it's leftover)

soy sauce

If you're starting with all raw ingredients, cook the eggs first, crumble & set aside. Use enough oil to keep egg from sticking, cook over medium-medium high heat.

Then brown the chicken with ginger, garlic, and some black pepper to taste. Make sure you use a fair amount of oil, a couple of tablespoons at least. You want it to be moist. Add in the cole slaw mix, and re-season with more ginger and garlic. Cook just until the cabbage is mostly wilted but still has a little bit of crunch to it.

Season with soy sauce to taste, cook another minute or two and set aside to cool.

Wrap in spring/egg rolls as desired.

The whole thing takes roughly 20 minutes.

That is similar to my egg roll recipe. I skip the eggs and add bean sprouts. I bake the egg rolls. Was wondering if you cook your spring rolls after rolling them...not stated, so I wanted to be sure...THANKS!

Yep. Although I fry them, I'm not fond of the texture of rice paper as is or baked. :)

I used Aveeno products for years and had to stop using it because my skin problems got worse.  I do have Dermatitis Herpetiformis.   Not all people with Celiac react to oats.   I use tallow balm.  People have been using it for thousands of years.  Tallow balm is better absorbed that plant fats.  There's also tallow balm soap.  My favorite brand is Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm.

Yes I have thyroid and have had it for over 30 years and just got diagnosed for cealiac last march.I have been complaining all the years about stomach pain weight lost hair falling out they kept blaming on the thyroid and I am over 70 years old. but what I’ve been reading thyroid, diabetes, should take a closer look,I think autoimmune plays a part. All I know is that I cook strictly gluten-free and also found if restaurants don’t have a designated gluten-free kitchen not going there. Cross contamination is a big thing .

Celiac Disease is not taken seriously and I want that to change. It affects one in so many ways and not being properly cared for is frustrating and inhumane. On our worst days the last thing we are thinking about is going to the the hospital.Im 54 years old and went through the celiac ringer with incompetent doctors not understanding the disease and gaslighting me when not feeling well.Ive learned so much with the celiac community and had to school my new gi whose actually listening and understanding, now, this year 2025 when i was half told in 1994 by colonoscopy and endoscopy..Pregancy doesn't affect the public but it's a reportable condition. I want to make celiac disease a reportable disease to protect the patients from being medically gaslight as I was.I want awareness, I want to not have another go through what Ive been through. In order for celiac disease to be taken seriously, I truly think it needs to be reportable disease to protect the patients. I did email Adam Gray and also my local representative.

I use Aveeno for decades and I am dealing with skin issues and didn't think anything of Aveeno being a problem. Is Aveeno ok?I also use Yarrow pom in it which I notice helps.
