The Southeast Chapter (CSA affiliated) meets too far south for me as I'm in northern Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Chapter (CDF affiliated) meets in the Delray area - again, too far away for me, especially during the work week. I'd love to have a support group in the northern part of the county; anybody out there want to get involved? -

Hi Jacey - I know exactly where you're at because I was there 5 months ago when I first heard the word celiac - same symptoms as yours, same doctor's reactions. I don't know if you smoke, but just this past weekend I figured out that it was smoking that was making me sick after three months gluten-free and feeling pretty good. Jerry, Don't be discouraged if your celiac panel comes back negative; mine did with the exception of having DQ8. Biopsy and capsule endoscopy also negative, but I simply cannot discount the positive response to a gluten-free diet (nor can my family!) I feel good for the first time in over two years. I too received all negative test results, with the exception of of being DQ8 positive. My brother was a juvenile diabetic, my mother had the worst stomach, as well as psoriasis, and I started having stomach issues at about 15 years of age, as well as being asthmatic as a young child. I do remember my mom saying that she had to feed me pre-digested formula...
