    Did you ever meet him? No I never got to meet him, the most I have is a few pictures from when he was little. With his mom being Korean (My dad had a thing for forgien women-- my mom is Turkish) and my dad not paying child support he has become lost in the system. If I could ever find him I would love to meet him.

    My daughter dehydrates extremly fast and if I don't have anything else on hand such as gatorade pedylite ect. I give either a popsicle or ice cube to suck on slowly. I hope he feels better soon i know its tough not only on him but you guys too.

    My daughter was induced 6 weeks early because I went from 110lbs at conception down to 95 at her birth. She weighed 4lbs 11oz but was 21" long(I gave birth to a worm!)     I was watching that same episode last night! But wondered where she went to to get the pizza? They kind of made sound like she popped into "regular" pizza place and special ordered a pizza with gluten free crust and it took an hour to make. I want a pizza place near me that does that!

    I just got my daughter back from dads and told her there is TWO other people in Cola. that have celiac. She got so excited. She wanted to know if you where her age(13) I told her I was pretty sure you weren't. She said "Thats ok I'll like them anyway." She is such a turkey!     Rosewood has a smaller selection then Earthfare. It is not far from Earth Fare. I might have to check out Charlotte when we go to Carowinds! Is there any place in particular that is really good? And not hard to find(directions not my best virtue)

We have not been because its so far away and is geared towards adults. Have you tried Earth Fare or Rosewood Market? They may not have everything but between the two we get what we need .     Are there any support groups in our area? I live outside NE Cola. and going to West Cola. is an hour drive for us. My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with celiac 5 years ago. Now that we hit the teen years she seems to have more trouble coping. Any Info. would be helpful.

    Both my kids can cook(my son wants to be a chef) It's just not easy getting them to agree on what I'm cooking. Both know they are free to fix whatever they want as long as they clean up after themselves. It does get crazy having two people trying to prepare something in our small kitchen. Plus without child support money gets tight so the end of the month...

    I have a problem with trying to make only gluten free food: My son will not touch it. If it says gluten free he automatically wont go near it. I've even tried tricking him but he always seems to be able to taste the diffrence. He is very particular with diffrent textures in his mouth.     Thanks Y'all I'm going to give these recipes a try this weekend for when she gets back from dads (hope she feels well-dad thinks by eating gluten she will get better and outgrow celiac) But she will be excitedexspecially if I don't make her brother a pizza! He teases her alot but she deserves it she hits him alot. Maybe I'll move far away from them both...
