  1. I have always been a binge eater - I was bulimic in my younger days. But I wasn't dx until later, and I believe all of my EXTREME binging was due to celiac. Now I eat healthier things (except for tortilla chips). I do have the problem of not getting bloated or realizing when I'm full. Very weird. I used to determine how full I was by how tight my pants...
  2. Thank you - I'm wondering if I had a candida overgrowth as well. Does it just "go away" with a gluten-free diet? Shawn
  3. Hi - I've been hypothyroid most of my life, and was just dx and started the gluten-free diet over a month ago. I'm wondering if I still need to take as much thyroid meds? Has anybody had the reaction of improved thyroid health with the gluten-free diet? Just wondering - I should probably get tested. Shawn

Not sure if this is normal, but I really...
  7. Hi, I recently found out that I have DH, and have been off gluten for over a month. The DH is pretty much gone, and my stomach is feeling great, too! (I didn't realize how completely bloated I had been!) I'm not sure if this is in my head, but whenever I touch bread (for my family), I start getting itchy - and it's almost like I ate the wheat. Is...
  8. Hi, I recently found out that I have DH, and have been off gluten for over a month. The DH is gone, and my stomach is feeling great, too! (I didn't realize how completely bloated I had been!) The weirdest thing - I used to have a major candy addiction. Now, I can't even tolerate anything that sweet. Believe me, I'm not complaining - on the contrary...
