  1. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24152750/ See also: Is rice gluten free? Even though rice is considered gluten-free based on the definition set forth by the FDA, rice does contain a form of gluten called orzenin.
  2. For me, all three so called 'gluten free' pizza establishments, along with the dedicated equipment, are not true gluten free and I will react to very negatively and make me super sick. CPK gluten free crust contains Rice flour in it, while it currently meets the criteria with the FDA for 'gluten free' it is not per other science that shows that Celiacs also...
  3. I had a gluten antibody test while I was so called 'gluten free' per the FDA, but in fact all grains have proteins known as 'glutens', so I was also reacting to oats, corn, and rice with corn being the worst. I also had to give up listerine because it was made with sorbitol a corn derivative and corn gluten contains 55% of a gluten called 'zien'. That 10 seconds of swishing it around in my mouth gave me whole body pain like a MS or RA type pain and it all went away on day three of stopping Listerine and I threw away all the other products as well that contained any form of corn gluten. I have to make most of my own foods i.e. pickles, ketchup, vegan cheese, yogurt, etc. because most of that stuff is also contaminated with corn gluten or it is very expensive. I suspect you are true celiac and need to get rid of all the corn gluten like I did, most of my supplements had it too. There are 1,800 corn derivatives in products these days and those on traditional gluten free diets aren't getting better like they should because of this.  I don't have a piece of paper proving ...

  4. You are on the money, but I should also add that Italian, French and other countries research shows exactly what I have said. Our FDA is behind the ball when it comes to this research and I am hopeful that Kennedy can straighten this out soon, albeit he is giving the food companies too long to just remove food dyes from our foods when in fact they have to...
  5. corn: It is the second most commonly genetically modified food on the planet (soy is #1) Genetic modification of foods continues to kill animals in scientific studies. It is an incomplete protein. It is difficult for humans to digest (ever see corn in your stool?) It is high in calories and low in nutrient value It is a new food...
  6. Corn Gluten vs. Wheat Gluten: Corn gluten (zein) is different from wheat gluten (gliadin), but both are types of gluten. Inflammatory Response: Some celiac patients have shown an inflammatory response after consuming corn. Cross-Reactivity: Corn can mimic gluten in sensitive individuals, potentially triggering immune responses similar...
  7. I have this issue with all glutens, including the gluten found in corn and have gotten immensely better thanks for not just Dr. Osbourne, but also Dr. Hyman, and Dr. Susan Payrovi- an MD with Stanford. Gluten is the protein found in all grains.
  8. Perhaps you would still like to answer the questions I posed on this topic, because that is all I asked. I am curious to know the answers to those questions, I do not care about the background of Dr. Osborne as I am more aware of the situation than you are, and he is also one of the best known authors out there on Celiac disease. But did you even bother to...
  9. Ortiz-Sánchez JP, Cabrera-Chávez F, de la Barca AM. Maize prolamins could induce a gluten-like cellular immune response in some celiac disease patients. Nutrients. 2013 Oct 21;5(10):4174-83. doi: 10.3390/nu5104174. PMID: 24152750; PMCID: PMC3820067. AND SEE: Oats Intolerance in Celiac Disease. PLoS Med. 2004 Oct;1(1):e23. doi: 10.1371/journal.p...
  10. On my Celiac journey and discovered I was also reacting to other types of gluten. The FDA in it's finite wisdom only classifies 'wheat, barley and rye' as the gluten's to be considered when a company tests for and stamps their products as gluten free. I am curious as to how many of you are aware of the other types of glutens? And another question to those...
  11. I used to be in such a state that I couldn't have eggs or coffee as I had pain in the upper abdomen area, now I have both without issues. For me, I only temporarily reacted to both until months after being 100% gluten and dairy free. I used to take Kratom during the day for extreme back pain and now it makes me very tired and in a daze. Once I was no longer...
  12. Are you sure it's oats? Maybe its from consuming dairy. That's what happened to me. I eat oats, eggs, and quinoa without issue now that I cut out the dairy. It was the second culprit after gluten. Where there is one autoimmune condition, there will be another. Dairy is the second biggest culprit for allergies in foods. Also, make sure you take the Digestive...
  13. Well, it takes the gut 1.5 years to heal from Gluten, I don't test for it, there is no purpose in that for me. I am gluten free for life, but I noticed Dairy made me just as sick as gluten did, so when I went dairy free, all my allergies quit, I was no longer tired, my groin pain or (misshaped colon) went away and the sores on my body dissappeared. When...
