    Hey, I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on gluten free restaurants and/or health food stores in Miami, Florida? I'm going to be visiting the area (specifically South Beach) soon and wanted to make sure I knew of some gluten free places beforehand. Thanks!

    In regards to your question about Starbucks' soy latte, it IS gluten free. I get that at least 1x everyday! Also, I find B12 injections are helpful with neurological symptoms. I take them once a month.

    I'm not sure - I've only tried a few of the basic ones - such as turkey and cheddar cheese. I don't believe all of them are gluten free, but quite a few are safe for us.

    I should add that the brownies are delicious and the cupcakes are, by far, the best gluten free ones I have had - much better than Risotteria's cupcakes (and I thought those were pretty good).

    They taste pretty good. I mean you can definitely tell that they are gluten free, but they were still fairly good. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they are primarily made out of corn meal and I have a minor corn sensitivity.

    Cafe Formaggio does have gluten free pizza and pasta now. I went there a few weeks ago and tried the pizza. It was very good and it tasted very similar to the pizza at Villa Milano in Manhassett.     Ok, well I just heard the radio advertisement for myself recently and they say that they have "gluten free whole wheat pizza." LOL. Obviously, someone's a bit confused!

    Has anyone tried the gluten free pizza at Cafe Formaggio in Westbury, New York? I have never been there but someone told me that they advertised having gluten free pizza on the radio. Does anyone know any more about this? Thanks

    The Prime Grill and Solo (both under the same ownership) are Kosher restaurants that understand gluten intolerance and offer a lot of gluten free options once you explain to them that you have Celiac Disease / Gluten Intolerance. I've never had a problem at either place.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that due to "a complaint," Gourmet Land is no longer serving gluten free Chinese food. This is why it may be better to educate, instead of complain, because otherwise we will lose all of the restaurants that are trying to accommodate us.

    I take ADEK chewable tablets. These vitamins are very good for people with malabsorptive conditions, as they are already partially broken down or pre-digested. It contains all of the essential vitamins at the normal amounts with high levels of vitamins A, D, E, and K.     I'm sorry you got sick. Do you think that you may have an allergy/intolerance to another ingredient that they may use? I've very sensitive to gluten and I have eaten there several times and haven't had any problems yet. Perhaps, there was a mix-up in the kitchen and what you got wasn't gluten free...     I just found out about a gluten free Chinese food restaurant in NYC. It is called Gourmet Land! I've been there twice and the food is amazing and tastes like real Chinese food! So far, I have tried the Garlic Chicken, the Singapore Noodles, and the Chocolate torte. They have a fairly extensive gluten free menu and several gluten free desserts too. Also...

    The only other restaurant that I ate at while in Venice besides the two at the hotel (Fortuny and Cip's Club) was Harry's Bar in San Marco. Although, it is still owned by the Cipriani family. That was good too, although they didn't have any gluten free pasta or bread but they were able to alter a lot of their entrees so that they were gluten free.
