  1. I did talk to the nurse and she asked who told me no red meat. I explained the person who called with the results of my blood work. That was last week. She told me the doctor was on vacation and would be back this week and she would talk to him and have someone call me this week. I have not received a call yet. I will call them back Monday as a reminder...
  2. Thank you so much for your reply. Last night I did eat a smaller amount for dinner but I'm not chewy like you mentioned, but, I will start that today. 🙏🏻❤️✌️
  3. Maybe because I got the covid, where I got Celiac. I will talk to the Dr tomorrow
  4. I wrote myself a note to call this dr tomorrow. Nothing was said about a tick bite from me, or to me.
  5. I got Celiac Disease when I had the covid in 2023. Days after having covid I noticed food was bothering me. I did get an endoscopy months later but wasn't told to eat gluten ahead of time. It was scheduled for last October but I called for cancelations and got it about April or May. I believe if we waited until October, a nurse would have called me ahead...
  6. Has anyone been told they cannot eat red meat? Once I got a celiac blood test, that was the first thing the doctor said.
  7. The blood test was for celiac disease. And yes, I do have celiac disease. I was getting an upset stomach and diarrhea. I still have both. Everything I ate had gluton. I never found out why no red meat.
  8. I am 65 years old. I started having allergies to certain foods when I got the covid. I started feeling sick from food intake. I got tested with a blood test, and the first thing I was told was to stop eating red meat. Why is that? I'm eating turkey or chicken and get beloted no matter which I eat daily. I stay away from bread and am trying to eat fresh...
  9. It is a terrible feeling when we find out we have gluten eating problems. I had the covid in February 2023 and within a week, my belly bothered me. I pretty much started looking into what to eat and what not to eat. Since it is over a year now, I know what gluten makes me feel. A grocery store named Lowe's Grocery here on the east coast is wonderful about...
  10. I had Gluton Problems when I had the civid in February 2023. Right after that I was having stomach problems when eating. Started changing my diet with gluten free food. I never felt nausea though. I do see a nutritionist monthly, was eating a lot of gluten-free Amy's Meals and just found out it has loads of carbs, like 53g in the 2 enchiladas I love....
