They told me they were all gluten-free also but in the store I saw one with malt in it. I think it was the teriaki glaze. Maybe it was old stock. I've been meaning to call again and ask. Tracy -

ROYAL BLUE replied to sld's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
In my opinion you should not use it. You put lotion on your hands then touch your food or dishes then they are possibly contaminated. -
ARCHIVED Frustrated And Really Pissed Off
ROYAL BLUE replied to AntiGluten's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Mariann, Thanx for your input on the subject. I get more answers from people on this board than I can get from my sons Drs. Atleast everyone is helping me ask the correct questions. One thing that really puzzles me is, here in Canada they only do the Tissue Transglutiminase test, and then biopsy. Should I be requesting the other blood tests also... -
ARCHIVED Color Of Stools With Children Of Celiac Disease
ROYAL BLUE replied to celia's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
I can't say for sure where I saw the picture of a child with the distended abdomen, I think it was in Shelly Cases', or Danna Korns book. The way I describe the tummy is like a child in Ethiopia. The Doctors always told me it was just the age he was at, he did not have the stomach muscles yet. I said no, with the way he always was coughing from his asthma... -

Celia, My son's stools were like that from the day he was born. I kept asking the dr about it. The dr. ran a test for thyroid problems, it came back positive at 3 months for no apparent reason. My son is now 6, been gluten-free for... -
ARCHIVED Frustrated And Really Pissed Off
ROYAL BLUE replied to AntiGluten's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Mariann, I read your comment about the antibodies should be at zero if truly gluten free. Do you know if doctors have different opinions on this? The reason I am asking is, I asked my sons doctor about getting the tissue transglutiminate test done again to see if his antibody levels have dropped any since going gluten-free. I also asked if the level... -

ROYAL BLUE replied to seeking-wholeness's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
Sarah, I know exactly how you feel. One of my sons is Celiac and his explosive episodes sound so much like your childs. Is this type of behavour typical of celiac children? I've been almost hoping it is. I cannot control my child half the time. I hate to take him anywhere, I get so embarrased of his inappropriate behavour sometimes. I could just sit... -
