    Turkey is in the oven. Rolls (Pamela's of course) are rising. I refrained from cutting into the pumpkin pie cake for breakfast . . . it's kind of obvious when there's a piece missing . . . not like you can rearrange it so that nobody notices. I've got about 30 minutes before it's time to peel potatos. Did I mention that we go for the late mid-day Thanksgiving...

    Just a note on the Pamela's bread mix (which is what we use) . . . It does not require a "gluten free" setting or a programmable machine. You are SUPPOSE to use the standard white bread program option on the machine. Of course, this implies that Pamela's is your mix of choice.

    I think yer on the right track here, Suze. Thanksgiving bigger than Christmas??? Not sure about that . . . but I know I enjoy it more. Usually (not this year) get to see a lot of family without the pressure of getting all the "right" gifts.

    Susie, we're gonna have Pumpkin Pie Cake . . . pumpking pie on the bottom (no crust) and a struessaly type topping made wif a cake mix (NOT made into cake/cakebatter). I had it last week at school (not gluten free) and thought it should be able to convert nicely wif a Pamela's cake mix instead of a regular cake mix. I'll post it if you want. I MUCH prefer...

    Thanks for the clarification . . . I have actually asked Whole Foods employees several times and was just told they had "ingredient issues". I did not assume it meant gluten and I did not mean to imply that in my post. I am just annoyed that Whole Foods is refusing to sell Kinnikinnick products until they make changes but they don't have a problem selling...
