  6. Sarah, listen to your parents, let them help, get some legal counsel . . . if it helps, act as if you're doing this for someone else, forget the emotion part for now (I know, I'm asking the impossible) but you need to be in survival mode for you and your children . . . and I'm talking long term. You didn't see this coming . . . so you don't really know what...

  10. One of the best emails I've ever gotten from me mum . . . Diet Questions Answered Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that...
  11. Sarah!!! Happy to see your name at the bottom of this page. Hope we can make you smirk . . . . . . without throwing any tostitos at you. Love you!!!
  12. - yes, I was gonna tell on you - tell everyone that we may have lost our Judy to the OS thread -
  13. Yes, I do like those, too (probably my second fave) . . . we have one in the front yard so I was looking for something different. Plus, the previous owners so totally overplanted this yard that I haven't been able to put in what I want. We've only be removing trees and bushes as they get too big for the locations they are in and we have to thin them out...
  14. I guess I'm off to go google some trees. My crabapple is too close to the house (previous owners ) and also had some drainage issues there that are fixed now but I think it did the tree in . . . too wet for too long. I need to replace it (at a respectable distance). Judy, expert gardener, know anything about trees? I've got conflicting opinion....
  15. Holy Crap!!! . . . and to think I used to like him!!!! 12000 calories and having a hard time keeping the weight on!!!!! That B@$#@^d!!!!
  16. It was actually a test on one of the biopsies where they check for the enzyme to process lactose. There were four or five other enzymes that they also checked. My daughter "officially" showed no damage but she had generalized dissacharidase deficiency . . . most of her sugar processing was low . . . that was read by the GI as "hidden" damage. That along...
  17. No . . . I think humoUr is attractive . . . and he's got loads of it . . . of course, I think Jon Lovitz is heelarryus, too and don't find him attractive at all . . . guess there's a bit more to it. Actually, on one of our girl's (shopping) trips to Chicago, one of the evenings' discussion was "the lists" and one of the men on the list HAD to be someone...

  19. If you are looking for a decorating icing (can make flowers, borders, etc), here is a version of Wilton's . . . note the Crisco . . . it's not healthy, but what icing is? <--emoticon getting ready to lick the spoon ) 1 cup solid vegetable shortening (I suggest Crisco) 1 teaspoon Clear Vanilla Extract 1/2 teaspoon Clear Butter Flavoring...
  20. There are rules to this, you know . . . around here, you only get five on the list, and apparently in Bev's part o'town, once it's laminated, it's done!! Bev, dahling, what happens if somebody on yer laminated list dies . . . do you get to pick out someone new??

  25. I don't know about "all" but as brands go . . . McCormick's is good (has a "will label all gluten" policy). For food dyes, I stick with Wilton's. Wilton's clear (good for the WHITE decorating icing) vanilla and butter extract/flavorings are also OK. You can get Wilton's at craft stores like Michael's or JoAnn's but its cheaper (but usually smaller...
