  1. I used the link to go to General Mills. I told them that I think they should do a search on the website and read the comments about their company. I have also been contacting the large cereal companies with my comments, since cereal is a staple to kids. I never get a real response just some prompted letter. Is there any way to post a petition on the website...
  2. Hi Margaret, My son was recently diagnosed too. He is 21 years old, so it was even more difficult. He knows what tastes good and what tastes bad. I am similar to you, a great baker, but...gluten free baking was difficult. I bought every kind of flour and baking product I read about. I am here to tell you, give all that up. 3. I just wanted to let you know that I tried the Tom Sawyer flour for baking tonight. ALthough it was just drop biscuits to which I added garlic and parsley, it was wonderful. It measured exactly as flour, had no nasty after taste, and had a consistency like flour. I am glad that I liked it since I have a case in the freezer. I will continue to buy this flour...
  4. I feel your pain right now. I am usually a good baker, but alas... I have tried many flours too. You can use soy flour, cup per cup, but it has a heavy taste. 5. Here is a quick and easy frosting. It tastes great. 1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa 16 oz heavy whipping cream Place dry ingredients in chilled bowl. Add whipping cream, blend with mixer until right consistency. This is a recipe kids are sure to love. The only downfall is that it needs to be refrigerated.
  6. My son loves oven friend chicken. We marinate the chicken in eggs and spices. Then coat the chicken in potatoe buds. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with Pam and bake. It is really good. Karen
