  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Ok thanks. I'm on the gluten-free diet anyway so it doesnt really make a difference whether it's celiac or not!
  3. I was diagnosed as Gluten intolerant about 6 months ago, and I'm not sure if i have DH or not. Before the diagnosis I got a weird rash on my arms and legs that are clusters of really small red bumps, but they weren't really itchy. They kind of go away when I'm really strict about my gluten-free diet, but when I get gluten into my system they flare up kind...

    ARCHIVED Naturopath/homeopath

the only way i got a diagnosis was from a naturopath. I had medical doctors saying that my symptoms were in my head, basically along the lines of "you're imagining your symptoms." Yeah, its expensive, but it seems like insurance doesnt cover very much as it is, so I think it's worth it in the long run.

They put them on the same platter. *headslap* I did have gluten-free cornbread though... And pie. yay pie. My dad, of all people, gets the fact that I cant eat gluten the least of every...
  8. I'm the only one in my family that has it too, so i'm in the same boat as you! I've had doctors tell me all kinds of things that they thought could be the cause of all my illnesses, and i finally got an answer about 6 months ago. It's gotten easier every day not eating gluten, and just the fact that i'm feeling better really makes it worth it! We all have...
  9. Hey im new here too! I'm Hilary, and I've known that I'm gluten-intolerant for about 5 months now, I'm probably celiac, but I haven't been officially diagnosed, (durn insurance not covering things.) Anywho, its getting easier to cope with the past few weeks. Of course there were the occasional break downs, especially when it comes to being around food that...
  10. Trust me i've been there too. Imagine if its YOUR DOCTOR telling you that its in you head. Thats just messed up dont you think? But yeah that happened to me. I finally found out that i'm gluten intolerant (I dont even know if i'm flat out celiac for fear that nothing's going to be covered by insurance) from a natropathic doctor after years of chronic illness...
