    I would not cancel the colonoscopy. There are other conditions that you might have that go along with Celiac. For example, I have microscopic colitis and that is diagnosed with a biopsy of your colon. The doctor could do both scopes at the same time.     I also have mitral valve prolapse. This was not discovered until three years after the Celiac symptons started. I don't know of anyone in my family having this heart condition. I wonder if Celiac can affect the heart?

    Does anyone know if Celestial Seasonings green tea (antioxidant supplement) is gluten-free? I can't find anything on the box. It does contain natural flavors, but I don't see barley malt in the ingredients. I picked up this package by accident, I meant to get the original green tea. Thanks!

    Mine was removed when I was 16. The doctor also said that I had cysts on my ovaries and that part of one was removed. Years later a doctor told me that my ovary had never had surgery on it. I still have the same pain now, after eating gluten, that I had all of those years ago. I was diagnosed with Celiac 38 years later!

    You need to be tested for Celiac with those list of symptoms. They are classic celiac disease symptons and the doctor should be more than happy to test you.
