    It does I was asked that by a GI, an alleged celiac 'expert'. Not sure whether he asked to rule in or out celiac tho. Definitely mention it. And Good Luck w/ whatever may come. (Studying metoerology?)

    Absolutely. For years I too figured that's 'just the way it was'. I wish I'd wised up much sooner. Celiac wasn't talked about much in the 80s & 90s. Once a sibling is diagnosed, the chances of another having celiac disease are much higher. The doc HAS to test for it, or is simply a doc not worth seeing again. Really? You'd rather have...

    My mom got several titanium bracket-looking things put on vertabrae last yr and has never felt better. (Ok maybe better in her 20s - but maybe not. She's 72) She'd been having trouble w/ the most basic physical tasks before the surgery. After? She actually went skiing last winter!!

    I really never had "what might've been" thoughts until ~July. Never. Wondered plenty about whether I'd be ill until the day I died tho. Anyone in our position *has* to wonder that.     My ongoing day: All the stress of moving day w/out any of MY stuff getting moved. On the bright side, I DID run into an old girlfriend, from 17-18yrs ago, at a chance stop at a gas station! (Willow Glen Rotten Robbie, for those in the know)

    My little problem was detailed on OMG. Didn't feel much like eating for a few days, but I'm back to eating what I should now. (Tsu-tze thinks I have an eating problem? ) Tho 30-some under my old weight, still 20 over my low. Tom doesn't have a lecture handy, but where's the line form for the other??     Oh hathor, that's horrible!! While I've heard of many great experiences there, yours is NOT the first Maggiano's complete screw-up I've heard of. I really don't know if I'll be able to trust them. One question - what city/location Maggiano's was that?
