  3. Ohhhhhh nooooooooooooooooooo Wish I'd never mentioned the derby now (Can I edit-erase all of it before anyone sees?) After the finish line, a horse broke 2 ankles and had to be put down.

  5. Re: my impromptu depression - I wonder if the LaraBars were a factor. I *did* test one flavor days before the trip, but had two others Sunday on the drive back. The timing fits but it seems too drastic a mental change for 2 little bars. Hmmmm .... .dates were a new ingred for me. **DERBY!!!!** All y'all pulling for the filly? (Hey! Where's Peter?...
  6. Hi Sillies Hi hi HI!! I'm seemingly doing better each day. QUICK POST! Who's watching the Kentucky Derby??? Post Time = 14min @6:04 EST (EDT? Bah whatever!) 8. I sure wish *I'd* gone soy-free when I went gluten-free etc. I did try elimination tests on soy, but even a 1 week test was inconclusive. It wasn't until I tried a 2week test soy-free that I was sure it was a problem.
  9. Stanford's Head of GI Dept told me 1 month - 1/2 slice of daily bread. I didn't do it.
  10. Ohhhhhmigod .. . I *did* just get a good laugh but .. ...not sure I should say .. ..oh wth .. ..I read part of Susie's Return of Kissey missive as ".....I'm hoping he'll slip it in unnoticed,"
  11. Hi all ... .just unreasonably depressed again but coming out of it I think. Finished the humaworm yesterday. Nothing noteworthy came of that. Early on, it seemed to knock 10 or 20% off my goodness scale, so hopefully I get that back tomorrow. And I'm 7 pages behind!!!!!!!! Jury Duty! Ack! I only got called while living at the condo - longest term of...
  12. Bleh. . ...another crappy day here & now I'm sitting at the DMV waiting for my B425 to be called. They're on B383.
  13. Hello hello silly ones, Ugh I'm still tuckered out from the drive back. Grrrrr 350miles & never a break from traffic. Fun time there tho!! :D The kids' production of H.S. Musical was too too cute & spending time w/ Teresa & the girls was long overdue. They moved 3yrs ago but it comes to mind all the time that I wish they all still...
  14. Hi Bill, This group Open Original Shared Link does a near-monthly potluck, but I haven't been able to make it yet.
  15. On the Road Again . ... <new av> I should have you over for dinner.
  16. Well I'm going to Fernley NV, 30m E of Reno, to see Nic&Nat's stage debut in "H.S. Musical". And to just have fun gigglin' wif 'em. Far from tropical, but it is warming up there. I think 82F is forecast for Sunday. A little west of Reno, and on I-80, which I take, is Truckee CA, where it actually snowed Wed morn. <brrrrrrr> They had...
  17. I'd blame Emily. Seriously Em - somehow your close italics ([/ I]) are in the WEIRDEST hidden obscured places. ROFL OK SILLIES!!!!!!! I've started packing and am ALL psyched to go go GO!!!!! (Well . ..I started to think about packing anyway)
  18. d'oh!! it didn't even cross my MIND that it could be taken this way I meant more that painted chintoenails could be almost necklacey on the women!!!
  19. I'd like to think they've changed it by now, but in '03 Aim had gluten. I use a Tom's of Maine now, but that's more because of the sweeteners in most brands. I think most brands are gluten-free, but I really haven't looked in years.
  20. I wanted to make fun of all you girls painting your chintoenails, but now that I think of it, it sounds kinda .. . .. nifty. Hehe kewl .. . hehehe (pssst!! .. . .janet .. .your engineer is showing)
  21. NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo!! Such a critical flaw in the forum software. :sadresignationface: No Magic Triangle or <cnrl> Z or allthekingshorses&allthekingsmen? Bah <shhhhhh .. . .I haven't let on that I'd try a beard over my wee footsies>
  22. Not to mention mixing the dangling w/ the undangleable Chinfeet can't be attached at the heel can they?? Nahhhhhhhh .. . ..cuz THAT would be silly.
  23. Whaaaaaaa??????? I thought it was at least to mid-calf. Wasn't the word dangling used? Is there a way to attach little eye-bibs? Patti said unfortunate protuberance (tom's reminded of male-specific jr high embarrassment)
  24. Wow! The speed of onset in Sep'07 is unusual, but I've learned not to put anything past Celiac. The other incidents sure seem to point to at least a wheat allergy - or maybe gluten intolerance, or celiac disease. Best of luck figuring it out & beware the hidden gluten. My toothpaste was the last thing I found glutening me.
  25. Since the research has a ways to go regarding genetic sequences, the answer must be yes. (And of course, the above posts show same) Just last month, a study was published saying they'd found 7 more genetic "areas of interest" for celiac disease.
