  2. So THAT'S why MY contract has a handwritten (bubble-gum pink Crayon naturally) addendum in several languages, each w/ a different translation. Everything from "At end of term, and/or in the event that _______'s reign is suspended, all material assets (heretofore referred to as M.A., which consists of, but is not limited to, bank accounts, portfolios...
  3. HPP??!! HAAAAAAA!!!! Did we read the same 'Grammar Geek Quarterly' HumoUr column in the SummeUr issue!!?? Or was that FaUll? It was verilarious!! (Can't WAIT to see the letters they get!! )
  4. ROFL And apparently I wasn't alone in misreading the "dressed up as a chicken!!! <bawk!>
  5. OMG I'm actually tearing up a bit from the laughter at my misreading it at first as "How many here have ever dressed AS a chicken? " So I'm imagining what a chicken-suit would require and that the elastic used to keep a beak in place could get uncomfortable.
  6. Oh boy oh boy! Great memories. I went to Frankenmuth numerous times as a kid. That Christmas store was a wonderland. Half of family ~ Flint, and always spent a few summer weeks at a cottage on Lake Mich in Manistee County - betw Arcadia & Frankfort, if anyone's heard of those. Ahhhhhhh :) :) :) Great to hear of gluten-free place there...
  7. OPERATION 'POWER GRAB' COMPLETE! <mwahh-haa-haaaaaaaaaaaaa>
  8. Hmmm no mad dash to ascension this time? Shall I seize power w/ 3 quick posts? Oh the moral quandries I find myself in!! No new entries in the Chicken Butt Cooties' repetoire?
  9. (& see below) LMAO! Sooooooo much more palatable than dressed-up pets! That Rachelville Commune creation was hilarious! Well before my time, but I got tipped off to its whereabouts. Attack geese!! know what? chickenbutt! Luuuuuuuv the video for "Bawk Like an Egyptian" Kinda sappy for me, but that ode...
  10. Yes!! And I think my 2nd fave is their pseudo-cover of that Nancy Sinatra hit, also recently cover by Jessica Simpson. What the heck was it called? Anyway, I DO remember the Chicken Butt Cooties renamed it "These Eggs Weren't Laid For Lickin' ". I thought our Yeti was much bigger and better proportioned than THAT! 1st guess is maybe 8...
  11. That tupperware in the back of the fridge that no one remembers what's in it?
  12. Non-stop gigglefest reading thru all this!! (just too many posts in a row for this phone-surfer to properly quote, so I've cheated below) " Chicken butt cooties!", "thought they would taste funny since they were brown.", "In a panic, my boyfriend exclaimed "There's No Fence!!!"", "the (EX) boyfriend hid behind me! ", "Sarah, tell your husband...
  13. Just another sunny and 60-62
  14. !!! It was new to me! Thx Julie!
  15. Oops oh yeah . .. .. .but it still could be folliculitis.
  16. Whoa it IS the Yukon!! That's practically synonymous w/ Alaska isn't it? My brother Pat was an Alaska Parks Ranger, spending nearly every day out in purt'near wilderness. And at every opportunity, he'd go to his remote cabin. Once when I was there we used a 100+ yr old giant saw to cut ~6ft thick lake ice for his icehouse. The cutting's no picnic,...
  17. Hi Kass, It could be folliculitis of the scalp. There are 4 possible causes. 3 are bacterial and one is fungal. The fungal one is. .. .. . .drumroll, please .. .. .candida albicans!!!!
  18. Why thank you, 'Manda. It was quite a reflective morning at the pool that day. P.S. "Room at the" WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??
  19. mmmmmmm MMMMM!! I think it always was gluten-free, but the info isn't on the site. Your mojo-less eucalyptically-deprived tragedy-affected ( ) self may have missed my 1st post on The Crazy Chicken. I'd seen EPL mentioned several times over the months as a fave of celiacs, and I see this one ALL the time, as it's just 1 door away from the Trader...
  20. Also, every aged cheese has enough mold to be a BIG no-no for candida.
  21. The ACTUAL start of the Iditerod is in Wasilla, AK, where my brother Pat last lived. (or at least it's where he went to pick up the mail) They do a ceremonial, photo-op start in downtown Anchorage the day before. "Wake up MaggieYeti, iiiiiiiii think I got a sled to tiiiiiiiiiie you to" Hi Donna!! Back from WhF already...
  22. Yes, the only good sillythread sabbatical is a SHORT sillythread sabbatical. So sorry to hear about your friend's mom. That'd be Jennifer?
  23. Awww Boehv! I swear my method of jumping Back TWO pages in the browser works to retrieve 'lost' posts!! You use IE, I presume? (It's same w/ Firefox anyway) The [bACK] button, on its far right, has a tiny arrow/triangle pointing down. Clicking that lets you go Back multiple pages, skipping the pesky 'in-between page'. Simply clicking the [bACK] button...
  24. Um, Susie, OK. If Fresnoites/Fresnoteers/Fresnoans wanna be called West Coast, then I suppose there's nothing more to be said. <ya right> Boston's ON the water, NYC is IN the water, and W.Va makes me think of coal and appalachia, even if one corner IS ~50mi from D.C.! Hehehehe Good luck w/ the Yeti. Gah! I sure hope there isn't...
  25. Heehee it takes an easterner to refer to Fresno using the word Coast! Uh-oh! Maybe I jumped the gun! He may have a connecting flight thru LAX or SFO, before the FUN.
