    Wow....how often do tornados hit in Georgia? That's not too common, is it?

    This was nothing compared to the one we had a few years ago. I got home from work about 15 minutes before a tornado hit my neighborhood.....2 streets over from my house. The same street I turn onto got hit and a lady and her baby in an SUV driving on that street got picked up and put down 2 blocks away. Mother and baby and SUV all fine...except for some flat...

    The problem with oatmeal is that it is often contaminated with wheat simply because of its harvesting environment. You can buy safe oatmeal, but I don't know what brands to look for. Maybe someone else can give you that info.

    Just found out a tornado touched down yesterday a little north of us! Must've been the reason for all the sirens last night.

    Actually, I was referring to the movie....sorry, I wasn't too clear on that. When that alcoholic crop duster---who always claimed to have been abducted by aliens----does the kamakazee thing and flys his airplane into the opening of the mother ship and says, "I'm baaaack!"

    I don't think so. I lost dish service so no TV.....didn't hear a tornado siren but it was so noisy around here with all the emergency vehicles going by. That storm was a doozy...sounded like something was going to blow off my house . Poor Zeus was about to have a panic attack

    Hi all! Haven't been around lately....not feeling very silly. Money issues....and summer break hasn't even started, yet. Didn't get the job from the interview I went to. I'm going to try to do some tutoring....been tutoring at the school's after school program for 2 years and I LOVE doing it. Just hope there is a need out there. I'd LOVE to work in...

    I brought my own chicken and seasoning and had a piece of foil put on the grill for it to be cooked on....thought I had everything covered. When the host thought it was done, he proceeded to split it open with the spatula he'd used for everything else!!!!GAAAAHHH!!!!

    Will she be back before the next cleaning? If so, I think you probably will have to suck it up and clean her house, since she will probably still be charged for it. And trust me....people with immaculate houses can tell when it hasn't been cleaned. Or....on second thought.....fess up and ask her what you can do to make it right.....cuz if her house is that...

    Sort of like the Magic Eraser? (do they have those in Canada?)......It magically erases dirt and grime....I see a correlation here.....life's dirty little secrets.....erasing the grime we don't want people to notice...hmmm.... Maybe a trip to the supermarket is in order

    Me too! It's a sneaky way to get compliments! I also routinely mention my age around the middle school kids to keep the hormonal pubescent boys at arm's length. Whew!!!..Thanks Ehmehleigh!!! All of Sillyville are in the same dimension once again!
