  1. Could it be that you are on outline mode? Find the options box at the top of this thread on the right and choose linear.
  2. This is what I THOUGHT it said.....note to self: check my glasses prescription
  3. Right you are.....how'd you guess? ....And while I'm looking at the numerous ingredients I'm thinking..."....couldn't eat these without calling the company first"........thing is ....I could care less about the chips........the mind just goes on autopilot!!!
  4. Picture this.......I'm in my front yard cutting the grass when I notice a piece of trash in my driveway. So as I pass it while mowing I pick it up...........it's an empty potato chip bag.......STOP!..........At this point what would any normal(?) silly-yak do?....................I stand there with the mower still running and read the ingredients list off...
  5. Definitely go back and recheck your foods, toiletries, and food handling and utensils (CC). Also, start a food journal. Perhaps it is something else that is making you sick. I think that if you can get yourself feeling better, you won't be so frustrated. It is quite a liberating experience when you realize that you've gone 2, 3 , 4........weeks without pain...
  6. That gluteny bun touched your burger....cross contamination. Not to mention you don't know what's in that burger. I don't eat at McDonalds or any other fast food place. You need to hang out at this forum, read old threads, and educate yourself more about celiac. Or maybe someone else will respond who feels a little more talkative. It's late and I don't have...
  7. Here's another one...... Open Original Shared Link
  8. Hello, all!! Seems like many sillies (meself included) have been down in the dumps lately. I came across this so I thought I'd share. Hope everyone feels better! Open Original Shared Link
  9. I've never had shingles and I've never had this feeling on my face. It was painful just to touch it---just like a bad sunburn. And I've never had the stabbing pains before. In the past it was always in an area about the size of a silver dollar. This one was about 3 inches wide and went from inner thigh to outer thigh. It finally faded away this evening.
  10. As far as marinades go, I have found great spice rubs that I now prefer more thany any marinades I ever used. Death sentence?...The only stories I have heard with regard to dying of cancer are the many many relatives of ours that never got diagnosed. So instead of worrying, you need to celebrate that you have the opportunity to turn it all around and lead...
  11. So sorry you had a rough time Amanda. I had jury duty a few months ago, and I came close to losing it. Turns out it was a child molestation case.........................they dismissed me.
  12. No, I'm not on any supplements yet, just a high-dose multivitamin. I've been planning to add suplements, but there is no money at this time. Thanks for your help!
  13. Does anyone ever get the feeling on their skin like they have a bad burn? I have gotten them for years and always thought they were a symptom of fibromyalgia. It's usually on a small spot on my arm and goes away after a day...a mild annoyance. This time it started on the inside of my upper arm.The next day it changed to my upper thigh, and now this is day...
  14. If you already have a dx, she's not going to test you again. S_J_L RiceGuy gave an excellent analogy......if you knew it took 20 servings of gravy to cause cancer, how many WOULD you have? Or maybe you could think of it as Russian Roulette. This serving didn't cause cancer, but will the next one?
  15. When you click on a topic, you will see an OPTIONS box on the right. Click on it and select LINEAR+
  16. I think I can safely say that we are ALL concerned about CC in restaurants. Some so much so that they never eat out. Juliebove is right when she says you have to be clear what the problem is. The problem isn't usually that they are not helpful, but that they just don't know enough about it. You can't be too embarrassed to go into detail. I find it is...
  17. I used to slur before going gluten free. I didn't actually realize it until my son told me he was having a hard time understanding me on the phone. Now I don't slur, ( I think that went away when the brain fog lifted) but I sometimes have trouble getting my words out---almost like a stutter, but that happens very rarely.
  18. According to my research, if the product is made in the US, then there is no gluten. From other countries there may be gluten.
  19. Hey now!.......Indiana is already flooded!!!!She's done enough damage as it is!!!!!
  20. Well tell her to STOP!!!!! Hubby needs to do some tilling and it's waaayyy too soggy around here!!!!
  21. Patti, did you notice?..........MY pages were 1016-1018! .............coincidence?...............I think not!.............Hmmmmm, methinks some sort of other-worldly phenomenon at play here What does it meeeeeannnnn????????? Emily, that should qualify us both for some sort of royal appointage..............Sillyville Sisters of Sageness and Suspiciously...
  22. OMG......I just realized.......I have been the first poster on 3 pages in a row! Quick.....what is the mathematical probability of that ever happening again?..............(and no, I don't sit and count posts on each page in my spare time )
