    I know there is a test for celiac, but my husband is gluten intolerance (tried gluten free for 6 months and then added some, he can tolerate to a certain level). My 12 yr old is now breaking out with the rash that started my search for my husbands problem.     I have found a gluten free vitamen that is very good and has alfalfa that has no gluten..I called the nurtionlist at the company. It is Simply nutralite womens or mens packs and my friend who sells amway sells it for around $22 for $30 supply. I really had to look for good stuff for my hubby who is gluten intolerant

    I want to find some cologne for my hubby for Christmas. He stopped wearing any due to not knowing if the alchol in it was ok for him and we didnt know what to look for. We found one gluten-free vegan aftershave lotion. ANy ideas and what do i look for in the ingrediants?

    The tabasco flavoring has vinegar in it, it does not say distilled, so I would suspect that, the modified food startch, and also the natural flavorings. vinegar was one of the last things i figured out to avoid

    I am confused about alcohol, like what is in vanilla flavoring. I have been avoided anything with flavoring and also anything with alchol. I am not sure about isoprobable alchol.

    I found a gluten-free corn bread mix by Bobs red Mill that is relly good. the rest of my family eats it too.

    We also use bobs pizza crust, and add a bit of sugar to it. I let mine rise a lot longer, it is great. you can also roll it out, spray with olive oil and herbs and make fuccacia bread

    What dish soap is ok? My hubby is breaking out from Dawn. I am assuming we can't use anything with alcohol in it? i need a main brand that i can use. thanks

    How does salt effect? my hubby has to eat gluten free but loves salty corn chips. does this make breakouts worse?

    I am sooooooo confused! Are all alchols even isobrobl alcohol bad> are they all made from wheats? My hubby painted our kitchen and broke out real bad. I am wondering, from what i read, that the ethyelene glycol is an alchol in pure form. its in the paint. is this kind bad? I know hand sanitizers make him break out and i guess the alchol. any thoughts?

    my DH has been gluten free for 3wks and the itchy skin has gone away. He painted in our kitchen yesterday and by that night was broke out more than ever before.     I found that frying broken corn tortillas and adding seasoning too them while hot is great chips! My hubby also ate at a midwester mexican restaurant called Carlos O'kellys, he aske for gluten free items and the manager came out and told him what meals he could have. they are coming out with a gluten free menu. he was able to have a complete yummy meal

    In the midwest, there is a restraunt called Karlos O'Kellys. They are developing a gluten free menu. when my hubby went there, he requested gluten free and the manager came out and told him exactly what he could eat, and brought out the food himself.

    I am a bit confused!! I know that whey is a wheat product, but there is also whey in lots of ice cream products and cottage cheeses. Is this the same thing or is it milk whey? Or is there a difference? I have just been assuming that all whey is bad whey. thanks a bunch for help!

    I just called our local walmart and spoke to the manager. I suggested he make the suggestion to corporate to make a place in thier store to find all gluten free products (again, we know we will still have to read the lables) and make it easier for allergics to shop.     Thank you, Is that the same assumption with vinegar as well? I have been avoiding any products with vinegar unless it says speceifically distilled vinegar. I assume if its listed as vinegar then it is made the wrong kind of vinegar? thanks so much

    I am confused! some hygene and food items say gluten free, and I cant see gluten items (under other names) in them,but they say that there is alcohol or alcohol dante. in it. what does this mean????
